THE VFD DRIVES ARE USED TO CONTROL THE SPEED OF THE MOTOR.THIS CONCEPT OF CONTROL THE SPEED IS BY CONTROL THE FREQUENCY OF THE INCOMING SUPPLY.HENCE THE AC SUPPLY IS HAVING THE FREQUENCY SO IT IS POSSIBLE TO USE THE DRIVES ONLY FOR AC LOADS.
