In 1970s polychlorinated biphenyls(PCB) Is used.But this is in toxicity, so (PCB) is banned in many countries. Today we are using non-toxic,stable silicon based OR flouridated hydrocarbons are used,so pentaerythritol tetra fatty acid(C7, C8) Esters are also becoming increasingly common as alternatives to Naphthenic mineral oil.
