why most of the modern day type electrical appliance have 2
pins rather than 3 pins?

now a days most of the electrical appliances are electronically operated which consume very less power ,so i think we dont need the additional 3rd pin

I have a small system with two motors that are running on 380 vac, 60 hz. These motors are expensive and I usally get them from Brazil.
