some bykes starts in gear on kick by holding clutch and some
dont start why?
Answer Posted / manoop m
this is because of the position of kicker in the
transmissdion system The general power transmission system
for bike is engine- clutch- gear-wheels. In the first
case the kicker of bike is placed in between engine and
clutch. When we hold the clutch, the contact between clutch
palte and gear system breaks threrefore the power from the
kicker directly obtained in the engine. in the latter case
the kicker is placed in between wheels and gear system .
when we hold the clutch the contact between gear system and
clutch breaks therefor no power is transmitted to the
engine
