in transformer only two losses is consider one core loss and
other copper loss and core load is depend on the voltage(v)
and copper load depend on the current(i),so we know the
rating of every system is dependent on his system loss so
transformer rating in KVA .in moter,the output of moter is
mechnical so its rating is always consider in HP.
