If we are importing real power & exporting reactive power
then what will be the effect on our system

Answer Posted / amit kumar singh

It simply means you have more capacitive load than
inductive load. It is in no way going to harm your system,
rather your system will have good power factor unless it is
not on very high leading value.

The only effect on your system will be overvoltage if the
system to which you are exporting reactive power is having
surplous reactive power.
