When batteries of different voltages are connected in
parallel what happends
Answer Posted / steve
Kirchhoff first law states that" the sum of all the current
coming in and going out through a point is equal to zero"
(Ex: V1+V2-V3=0 where V1=5, V2=5, V3=10}. This shows all the
supplies are from different sources and they are not
interconnected.
Hence the above ans is wrong. The batteries are connected in
parallel and the higher voltage battery's voltage dominates
through the circuit.
Note- We don't know whether it is a rechargeable or dry
battery. I assumed it as a dry battery.
