Shrikant,
There is no such thing as best SDLC. All SDLCs have their
advantages as well as disadvantages. The selection of SDLC
depends on what application/software you are building.
If I have to choose SDLC for testing point of view then I
would go for Agile methodology where coding and testing
take place simultaneously.
Verification means to ensure that correct product is being
built and Validation means to ensure that correct product
has been built. So, both are important in order to
sucessful completion of the project. But if I had to go for
one of them then I would go for Validation just becasue it
is a mandatory in order to achieve something of real value.
In the world of Software Development there is nothing wrong
or right. Its all about your approach/opinion.
