one more thing i want to ask is i read some where that
smoke test is done before the product release and some
where said that it is to check weather to go for further
test or not ? so which is true .?
and when we do sanity in testing life cycle ?

Hello, I would like to know which all versions of Testing tools (load runner, winrunner, qtp, test director) are no longer used and which versions of these which are being used?
Testing wherein we subject the target of the test, to varying workloads to measure and evaluate the performance behaviors and the ability of the target and the test to continue to function properly under these different workloads?
