What is the difference between Class PX & Class X CT's
Answer Posted / k.prakashchandra
The performance of 'X-class' Ct is defined by Vkp,
magnetizing current at Vkp and resistance of secondary. It is
used in balanced protection system which is sensitively
dependent on CT accuracy.Vkp is an important parameter for
PX class CT and it is used for earth fault protection.
