Broadcast/receive to/from MS either signalling and traffic signals.
Modulate/demodulate signals to be broadcasted through air interfaces.
Multiplex the information to be transmitted over each carrier.
Measure the quality of the signalling and traffic signals in downlink and uplink channels.
transmit/receive signalling to/from bsc through abis interface.
