How many earthings are provided for a 250KVA distribution
transformer?
Answer Posted / deadzg_devil
Mainly two types of earthing are provided:
1)System Earthing:The neutral is connected to ground so that in case of imbalance the zero impedance current may pass thru the ground.
2)Equipment Earthing:This is provided to safeguard the outter body of transformer in case any fault occurs or any live wire touches the ground , it can redirect the current to ground.
