when an induction motor runs on load.at that time if we
reduce the supply voltage the current increases.But when it
runs without load,if we reduce the supply voltage the
current also reduced.why?.i checked it practically also.

when motor runs on load ;there is a load who will draw
more current if u reduce the voltage load will draw more
current because it is essential to run the desire load ,
Formull V=IR,...when ther is no load nobody is there to
draw the more current ,so current reduce if u reduce the
supply voltage
