those component which acts as energy storing element and
perform operation when connected with active component are
passive component example:-resistor , capacitor , inductor ,
some diode etc.
those component which gives energy and required biasing for
operation and are also used for rectifying, amplyfing the
signal are active component example:-transistor , tunnel
diode , thyristor etc
