what is the difference between cdma and gsm

Answer Posted / mayank mathur

In CDMA each user is assigned a unique code sequence, it
uses to encode it's information bearing signal. The
receiver, knowing the code sequence of the user, decodes a
received signal after reception and recovers the original data.
Whereas, Global system for
mobile(GSM) is a second generation cellular system standard
that was developed to solve the fragmentation problems of
the first cellular system in europe. it's the world most
popular 2g technology.
