1. Horizontal Merger: combination of 2 or more firms in
similar type of production distribution. ex: Maruthi & Suziki.
2. Vertical Merger: Combination involved in different stages
of production or distribution. ex: Maruthi purchases its
spare parts with other supplier.
3. Conglomerate Merger: Combination of firms engaged in
unrelated lines of businesses activity. ex: merging with
diff like cement products, fertilizers, electronics etc.,
