How will you explain transformer action in case of 3-phase
induction motor?
Answer Posted / dilawar husain
A three phase induction motor works as a short circuited
transformer in case we block the motor rotation. otherwise
it works on Lenz's Law,where the induced emf tries to
nullify the source causing this effect and thus rotates to
chase the rotating three phase field.
