What is the difference between ASICs and FPGA devices?
Which one is better? Which is being currently in use?
Answer Posted / chethan
deciding which one is better depends on requirements.. for
large number production of IC ASIC is preferred as cost per
unit ll b lesser because of low NRE cost(non recurring
enginnering cost) but for low number production FPGA is
prefeered as time to market is better.
