what is meaning of 1640 write on the trailor
Answer Posted / devineshop
This indicates the rating used for the trucks and trailers it
means 16 Ton and 400 horse power.this is like this 1640
became 16400 by adding one zero to the end point and then
we sagrigate 16/ 400 ie. 16 ton and 400 HP.In case of the
models including zero in betbeen like 407 then add zero to
the end this becomes 4070 and then obsolete zero from the
centre and rate like 4 / 70 ie 4 Ton 70 HP.In short we can
say that GVW of veh is 16 T & power of engine is 400hp.
