In a systen design to work out the tax to be paid: An
employee has Rs 4000 of salary tax free. the next Rs 1500 is
taxed at 10% , the next Rs 28000 is taxed at 22% , any
further amount is taxed at 40% , the nearest whole Rs,

Rs. 33501 is the answer. Sum of (4000+1500+28000).
Rs. 1500 is incorrect as it is only a value under the initial limit of 4000.
Rs. 32001 is incorrect as it is again only a value in between
5500 and 33501
Rs. 28000 is again incorrect as it is a value between 5500 & 33501.
1500 & 28000 are given as answers to confuse the user as they are used as values within the question.
