They can made to rotate in anti clock direction if the wings
are reshaped to blow the air. Originally the ceiling fans
were made to rotate in Ac direction only to suck the hot air
from fire place,when they were introduced in India by
Britishers.The direction was changed for cooling purpose
instead of circulating hot air.
