generly it is calculated by d*d/162. for 1 m length. like
8dia bar: d*d/162= 8*8/162=
64/162 =0.395kg per meter length
if u t having 12 m rod of 8 mm dia than total weight of 12
m bar is= 12*0.395
= 4.74kg
