i have a little confusion about asp.net and vb.net
is that the web applications called asp.net and windows application called as vb.net
please guide if there is a difference between vb.net and windows application or what????I am just a beginner ..pls guide..

Vb.net is a language
Asp.net is a Application to do server side coding using vb.net or c# language.
window based application is used for only desktop computers where as Web based applications are used by many clients through internet.
