What different between kw and kva.
why maser AC in kva.

kw is actual power.
kva is apprent power.
The main diffrence b/w these two is power factor,
kw = kva * p.f
Normaly p.f cant be calculated before in any AC system, so
that it measured in kva.
Same as in case of t/f its also have rating in kva (not in kw)
