Is Test report same as Bug report....?
I have to give Test Report to the client for my Application
....and as it started all of sudden i did not make the test
cases and started of testing .....The bug Tracker where i
report the bugs has a facility to download the Bug reported
in word or in excel format....It has the detailed
description of "version" of appliation tested, whom assigned
.., resolved , closed..then the steps to reproduce the bug
and all...Is the documnet test report...

Test report is a document which includes how much testing is
completed and remaining and the status of overall testing
done and a decision that helps to continue further testing
or stop.
Bug report is a part of test report that gives the details
of bugs encountered so far and open,close,pending and
reproducibility.
Test case document is not a test report.but definitely the
input to the whole testing.Test report can also includes
some times number of test cases run,pending and so on..
The other associated document is Test plan, to verify the
scope,schedule and cost and resources for the testing.The
execution of this plan results the test report.

An engineering college wants to automate their examination activities to speed up their work and maintain high-end accuracy of information. Can someone give checklist to test the performance of application. This checklist to be provided in the Test Plan that the following will be tested, e.g. 1. n users will be tested to test the load 2. Per page load time would not be greater than n seconds etc. I want to know the points other than the above stated ones.
Does any one have Performance test plan and Security test plan? Please help me as i need it ASAP... Thanks in Advance.
