I have done BE in Mechanical and have 2 years 9 months of experience in IT company (completing 3 years in dec). Have been to US on B1 visa March 2010 . Given my background of engineering and experience, am I eligible for H1B visa in 2010 ? Please help as my H1B is initiated at my company an I fear it will be closed on count of lesss experience.
My H1B interview is scheduled next month. For docs relating to previous employer, I got only offer letter and experience cert only. I used to get salary in cash. I dont have pay slips also. hi i have a valid H1B petition.(approved on oct 2010) It is approved for California location for a client A. Now i could not go for the client A since project is not available. I got project for client B in same california location but different city. I have filed fresh LCA now. after going to US my job involves frequent short travel to other states / cities for the support work. Can any one help me * Do i need to apply for fresh LCA if the client name changes & location ( changes within the state CA) * Can i travel to other states and cities for short term support work ( 2 weeks maximum ) * Possiblities of getting the visa in my case? Hi All, I have attended for H1B yesterday in chennai consulate. Interviewer was not happy with the project desc and asked for more documents mostly abt company profile and complete desc.she asked me to drop them in the drop box in hyderabad consulate.but she said not to drop the passport. can anyone let me know what happens next. shall i consider it as lost as she didnt asked for passport? or after checking the documents will i be asked to appear again if she is ok with the docs? or how is it gonna be? My husband had to go to Switzerland for work for a week,and also get his H1b Stamping from there. Now the consulate there said it would take 3 weeks to process, do you think it would create a problem. They have also asked for his resume????
