The volume based proportion of mix like 1:2:4, 1:1.5:3 and
1:1:2 are the nominal mix.
When ever pre design strength of mortor is required then we
should go for design mix which is based on different
proportion of material by weight and several material tests
to obtained required strength by trial and error method.
