AC means alternating current of 230V/50Hz is long distance
transmision & It possible or heps of 50Hz signels applying
or carrying.AC supply causes power loss & its problems
solved with stepp-up transformer.DC means direct current DC
voltage power gain maximum(maximum current rating and
voltage rating) it doesn't long transmision. Nearest
transmision if DC voltage better than AC voltage.(need or
wated of powersupply)
