What is the basic difference between Latches and Flip flops?

latches means is just cross coupling of inverters(nor-nor)
and it does not have any clock signals so whenever we change
i/p it changes the o/p(according gate delay) but flip flop
have clock signal so when ever we change the i/p it will
reflect the o/p in the next clock cycle(edge or level
triggering) so we use latches as temporary buffers and flip
flops as registers
