Hi,
1) Positive test cases: 0,1,500,999,1000
2) Negative test cases:
a) -ve numbers like -1, -500 etc.
b) less than 0 and greater than 1000.
c) Decimal numbers like 99.8,100.00 etc.
d) fractions like 7/8, 100/50 etc.
