Hi friends i am from mumbai and have been rejected twice for
f1 visa on 13th dec 2010 and 23th dec 2010. i hv enough funds,
so should i go for third time or should i wait for fall
2011.reply asap.

i guess waitin fr fall would be a better option .. as i read
somewhre that ... there should be an adequate gap between
the 2 appointments and healthy reasons enough for them to
reconsider ur app ... all i mean to say is if its ur third
attempt and u hve sumthn "new and prolific" that they can
see at this moment then only go fr it .. els don take a
chance .. No. of attempts might make a diff next time if ur
luck doesnt favor u now ... wait fr fall i wud say .. go a
little early fr it i.e wait fr a month or 2 ...

I am flo from france and I am currently studying in London. I have the opportunity of taking a design course over the summer at an american university so I need a visa F1. The university pays their student to study for the summer as they are doing a project in partnership with companies. Am I able to be paid by the uni with a VISA F1? Hi, I just have a question regarding my PhD admission with North Dakota State University without assistantship. I have already completed my Masters from NDSU and was working in the US for a couple of years, I however returned to India last year. I was in touch with my guide concerning pursuing my PhD at NDSU. I have now been offered admission at NDSU for the PhD program for Fall 2010, and I have also finalized my research area (extension of Master's research area), however I have not been given an official assistantship / aid letter from my department. My department is however saying that I will be definitely offered assistantship if I land up at NDSU in Fall. My concern is now about the Visa interview in which I will have to show personal liquid funds for 5 years of doctoral study. Can you please suggest a way by which I wont be asked to show 5 years of funding..since I have unofficially got the assurance of aid/tuition waiver. Please let me know.
