What is a Single Phase and Three phase Power? How it will be
converted or transformed into another form?
Answer Posted / sunil
Single phase is either YR or YB or BR where as 3 phase is
RYBN. To convert single phase to 3 phase multiply by 1.732.
i.e. root 3.
Single phase P = VI
Three phase P = 1.732 X V X I
