Why does a fractionating column does not catch fire even
though it operates at temperature greater than 400 degree C ?

fractionating columns at these high temperature are mostly
operated at low pressure or in vacuum hence there is no
chances of taking fire.

I will complete chemical engg next yr from a deemed university. Earlier I dropped 2 yrs after std 12th. Then I got 2 yr back while completing engg, due to reasons beyond my control.
