do aerocon blocks give more or less equal strength than
that of bricks...?

Answer Posted / pranav a mudaliyar

As the Aerocon/ Siporex blocks are oven dried, they are
light in weight (density 650 kg/m3) hence can be used
instead of brickwork as it imparts more compressive
strength, but its costly as compared to brick
Cost of brick work: Rs.350/m3
Cost of Siporex block (200 mm thk): Rs.1200/m3
