transformer handels electrical energy matching to the
system which containing active and reactive power .which
measured in volt amp capacity.hence rated as mva or kva.how
ever electric motor is meant for converting electrical
energy into mechanical energy that is shaft power . and
shaft power is always rated in horse power .
