two phases.it will glow or not

Answer Posted / partha deb

Answer written by Ramendra Shukla is perfect.
if a 220 V bulb is connected accross 415 V then the blub
will glow much higher then usual but for the time being as
high potential will burn out the fillament wire of the bulb.
And for those who is telling that it require a return
path - tell me then how a motor operates at 3 phase?where
is the return path?
There is no return path required in 3 phase or 2 phase as
in 3 phase syestem each phases wire act as the return
path;the basic concept of how electrons flow in three phase
system thereby Current.
