what is vpn ? and what is the main advatages?

vpn stands for virtual private network in which data is
transfer through a secure tunnel. if we want to take the
data through vpn so our client will provide the user name
and it's password for the authorise person only.
the advantage of vpn is that data is transfer through
secuer tunnel and no unauthorised person can hack the data
without user name and password.
