Why induction
motor can not be
operated at
synchronous
speed?? what
would happen if
it is operated
at synchronous
speed??
Answer Posted / amit mohan bhatt
synchronous motor cant be operated on synchronous speed
becoz it if the motor will run on synchronous speed then
there will be no fluxx cut by the conductor of rotor as a
result of which there will be no induced emf in the rotor
nd there is no motion in the rotor , therefore the
synchronous motor will operated in synchronous speed
