How power factor affect on bill explain with example.

Answer Posted / pravin a. mhaske

Power factor affect only on kVA not KW.For e.g. Power
required to run 10kw load is same whatever the Power
factor. But for low power factor current increases & it
will affect on KVA but KW would be the same.
In energy bill KWH will be not affected but charges of
demand chrges will be increased.
