and it has a high severity(Show stopper). What is the next
step? How you will execute the remaining test cases ?

first of all inform the developer about the sevearity of the
problem and set severity as high in quality center or in
bugzilla and then check you can continue testing other
functionalities if it is possible then continue testing
otherwise just stop testing the software
