advantages of test plan in software testing? the
interviewer asked what is the use of test plan, as we
always dont follow the test plan.

My ans is, Test plan is the 2nd document in project after
test strategy . It's prvided by test lead .It refers to
scheudling of the approach(i.e, test strategy). Test plan
describes what to test?,who to test?,how to test? & when to
test interms of features to be tested & not to be tested
with entry & exit criteria , schedules & testing team
responsibilities with test environments .
