When batteries are connected in series the voltage increases
but the current remains unchanged, how can this be?
When you consider ohm's law. i.e.
If voltage increases, current increases, providing
resistance remains the same.

In series ckt voltage sourse is additive and current
remains the same.It is the property of a series ckt.
Ohms law has no relation to the abovw question.Ohms law
applicable to pure resistive ckt only but physical
condition should be constant.
You have written a wrong thing that resistance remains the
same.
