Whether the DP transmitter can be utilised in the medium of
Vaccum for the measurement of Level?

Hi Friends i finally succeeded to take the DP transmitter
into line for the Measurement of Level which is under
vaccum. The following steps to be followed.
1. Transmitter range should be in Positive side only.
2. Transmitter HP should be connected with the Level
chamber bottom side and maintain very less gap between
Level Chamber and Trasmitter HP end.
3. Connect Transmitter LP end with the Level Chamber Top
End and elevate the Pipe line 11/2 mtr above the tank level
in order to ensure that there will not any water entrance
into the LP side impulse line. We need to maintain LP side
without water.
4. All Joints should be tight and there will not be any
leakages.

why we r opening HOT BYPASS valve during startup of a compressor?
