let me explain with a device called tri state buffer. it
has threee terminals. inline, enable line, outline.
its working is when enanble line is active output line
follows input line. but if it is not activated then output
line is free.
now how it helps in bus oriented system. consider two
buffers working on inverted logic . two buffers are
recieving differant inputs and the output of two buffers
are connected to same bus. with the help of enabling and
disabling enable line of two buffers we can selectivly
allow one of the input int the bus
