1) Hollow shafts are more homogenous in nature(material
property) and thus have more strength.
2)COP is coefficient of performance, in terms of wet suction
it is the ratio of liquid present to that of wet steam(which
include dry as well as liquid droplets)and dry is the vice
versa.
3)A shaft is a cylindrical device which transfers torque
only, it is a sub part of a axle, which is generally dead.
4)Trouble shooting of machines, in sense of engine can be
done by changing the conditions like fuel/air ratio, etc,
other steps can also be taking to prevent touble shooting ,
done basically by a governer, that is giving the solution to
the persisting problem.
6) its force/length, n/m.
7) if , u smoke cigar then its simple, the heating effect on
the cigar on its tip can be seen. the effect is the
formation of a cone due to suction of the smoke.
8)......info not clear.
9) Its cheap that is why, and steam has a higher latent heat
capacity also.
10).....
11) To find the stability of a system. Practical use nay
thermodynamic system like engines, boilers....
4) Mean of B.tech, I am not a engineer yet.
5)A ball screw is a mechanical device for translating
rotational motion to linear motion with little friction.A
leadscrew (or lead screw), also known as a power screw or
translation screw, is a screw designed to translate radial
