when insulation is perfect , there is only capacitive
current and angle between current and voltage is 90 degree.
as insulation degrades with time there is a flow of
resitive current also. the angle between capacitave and
resultant current(sum of resitive current and capacitive
current)is this "delta" angle.
as it keeps on increasing it indicates winding is
deterioating
