If single phase having 220v so why 3phase is440v.

hey if we consider 3 phases R,Y,B
we know tht in each phase there is 220v that means in 3 it
should be 660v. but we gnerally consider 2 phase i.e.
combination R-Y,Y-B,R-B, there fore the total voltage is
440v or 415v.
