Sales means to sale the product to the needed customers its
a activity which take place outside the company. Or we can
say reach the product to the end users.
Marketing is a broader term including sales activities it
is a activity within the company where it should be decide
that who will be our targated customers, Which territory we
have to be targated. It includes Place ,Product price
Promotion.It makes awareness to the customers about the
product Sales team implement it.
Difference is very clear
sales is a field activity while marketing is within office
activity
salesman has to meet the customers directly or it might be
that he sale the product throuh retailer but in marketing
the customers have to be identify that to whom they have to
be targated.
