Threshold Limit in respect to TDS (under Income tax in
India) refers to the gross amount up to which the amount
paid or credited need not be subject to deduction of Tax at
Source. These limits are specified under the relevant
sections of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Eg. Sec 194C, 194I, etc.)

Central purchase is eligible for issuance of H form. Whetther H form can be issued against local purcahse also? What I came to know is : earlier H form can be issued against central purchase only, but after intoduction of VAT, department issued notification regarding issuance of H form against LOCAL PURCHASE also.
