just 2 shift the phase.... ...so now we get 2 phase....
<m talkin abt electrical phase ....> when 2 phase
alternating field comes in contact with rotor .....it
produce eddey current in it nd in turn torque is produced
.............
....in other words it will be a lyk saying 2 start the
motor .........
some single phase motors have ... rotatory switch ......for
them its used just 2 disconnect the 2nd filed ..connected 2
the capacitor
